We’re looking for a driven Senior Account Executive with a passion for Entertainment and Festivals, who can thrive in a successful and fast-paced international agency environment.
About this role
With this role, you will have the opportunity to work across major festival properties, through all phases of planning, to being on the ground at the festivals and seeing all come together! The key activations will include official festival apps, experiential and comms activity. Working in a close team, your work will be varied from onsite logistics planning, through to approvals, budget management and team support. This role will be varied, with no two days looking exactly the same. As part of the Entertainment team, there may be instances where you are asked to work across various other exciting clients and projects depending on need.
About you
You will have strong attention to detail and be able to take responsibility for areas of budget management and activation logistics. You will enjoy working in a small team, and onsite at festivals whilst being able to foster positive working relationships with suppliers and clients alike. You will be highly proficient at using Microsoft software, most importantly PPT and Excel. You will be a proactive individual, who relishes taking responsibility for workstreams. You will have experience and understanding of agency ways of working. Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and be prepared to get stuck in with all aspects of project delivery to ensure work is delivered successfully and to a high standard. Be comfortable with weekend work on-site at festivals and some longer work days leading up to events.
The primary focus of this exciting role is to be part of the team delivering one of the high-profile accounts at Fuse; Vodafone’s Festival Activations. Festivals include Glastonbury, Mighty Hoopla, Kendal Calling, British Summertime and Boardmasters.
We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive (SAE) with experiential management and brand partnership experience to join the Fuse Entertainment Team. You’ll enjoy building great relationships with the team and learning in the role.
You’ll be supporting the management of a large-scale projects, so you’ll be a quick and logical thinker, have a strong eye for detail and be calm under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a true team player who is passionate about music and popular culture, knowledgeable on the festival landscape and most importantly up for the challenge of supporting across every aspect of delivering at these huge festivals.
This is a great opportunity for a confident and highly organised SAE who’s also looking for a role that offers the opportunity to work closely within the festival/entertainment space and work closely with an experienced team who will support your growth and career. Above all you will have a strong passion for event delivery and festivals, are happy to start from the ground up and will have a positive can-do attitude.
The successful candidate will be joining a creative and dynamic team and supporting on-going projects. Main day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Project management, reporting, data collection, process management & document delivery to a high standard, all working into the Senior Account Manager on your team.
- Managing suppliers to deliver on the ground activation
- Supporting the delivery of promotional content about talent brand partnerships and contracted rights with festivals, supporting content approvals across multiple stakeholders.
- Event management support & talent liaison on site at live events (festivals)
- Supporting the Senior Account Manager & Senior Account Director in their role
- Adhoc tasks as required by team and client
Desired skills & experience
- Relevant experience in sponsorship/brand partnerships or culture/entertainment marketing in an agency environment
- Project management experience, with the ability to multitask managing your own time well and knowing when to manage upwards to the Senior Account Manager and Senior Account Director.
- Understanding culture marketing and experience or interest in sponsorship and partnerships.
- Experience working on the ground at festivals, or large scale events.
- Strong skills in and experience in using PowerPoint & Excel to create internal and client facing documents.
- Excellent attention to detail, yet ability to multi-task.
- Proactive and able to work to strict deadlines.
- Experience in managing financial processes with strong numeracy and analytical skills with the ability to identify commercial opportunities.
- Ability to keep calm under pressure and proactively suggest solutions
You need to have the ability & willingness to work flexibly, usually in the London office, with occasional UK travel, on site at events and some weekend work.
This is a full-time role & you must be eligible to work in the UK.
