About the Role:

You’ll join the SC Johnson Performance team as a Senior Paid Social Executive, and you’ll support in the day to day running of paid social campaigns across multiple markets, using data driven insights and optimisations to help grow the SCJ business.

The SC Johnson team at OMD EMEA comprises circa 10 experts managing cross channel activity for EMEA. Not only is this team responsible for the strategic planning and buying of Programmatic, Search and Social advertising for this client, but we also lead the EMEA hub to instil best practice, training and new innovations across the region. This involves working across multiple teams, clients and regions to drive the best performance for our clients, and ultimately for OMD EMEA as an agency.

In this role you will be working across brands such as Glade, Duck, Mr Muscle and Ecover. The key platforms covered are Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok.

The OMD EMEA Performance Community is client-centric, with teams of Paid Social, Display & Programmatic, and Affiliate & Lead Gen experts working together to build cutting edge, compelling and successful strategies to grow our clients’ businesses.

The performance team work closely across the agency, so this role offers opportunities to acquire new skills across digital marketing and to work cross-channel.

In this role as a Senior Paid Social Executive, you will be responsible for driving SCJ’s social media performance, identifying opportunities to optimise existing activations, and suggesting test and learns and new platforms.

  • You will have experience in delivering and managing paid social advertising campaigns.
  • You are already comfortable using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You need to be Facebook blueprint certified with experience of planning/running Facebook advertising campaigns and ideally have experience working with YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and Snapchat.
  • You can draw clear insights and actions from Social and onsite analytics.
  • You will work with the team to deliver a response to a client's brief.
  • You will be able to listen, distil the brief down and think of the most efficient way to deliver the work.
  • You will have direct relationships with our clients as you help us to manage the actions from the weekly client status meetings.
  • You will be a curious learner, with great attention to detail and diligence in your work.
  • You need to be comfortable in a fast-paced agency environment - you need to react quickly and efficiently to changing priorities.
  • We want you to take the initiative, being able to recommend new approaches based on your experience from academia or other roles.
  • You need to be creative in the way you solve problems, able to ‘think outside the box’ to find solutions to business challenges.
  • You will be able to explain social advertising concepts to clients and colleagues in a way that is easy to understand.
