About the Role:
OMD EMEA are seeking a Paid Social Manager to support the next stage of growth globally for Tourism Ireland (primary client) and Nissan.
Tourism Ireland is the public sector organisation responsible for promoting the Island of Ireland, both North and South, as a tourism destination overseas. OMD EMEA plan and execute multi-market campaigns to generate awareness and consideration leveraging key attractions, assets, occasions and audiences (St. Patrick’s Day, the “Wild Atlantic Way”), as well as always-on activity that encourages deeper holiday planning and research.
The paid social team activates end-to-end across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok), keeping abreast of new opportunities and new platform capabilities including AI optimistation, Brand Lift measurement, audience prioritisation.
Integration with the wider teams working on TI is essential for smooth running of campaigns and achieving marketing and business objectives. In this role you’ll join the team and help manage the day to day running of paid social campaigns across multiple markets, using data driven insights and optimisations to help the business grow.
Nissan have more than half a century’s experience of developing and evolving fully-electric cars and have been in the vanguard of technical innovation. OMD work with Nissan across multiple business lines and products, this role is to support one of their newest ventures in micro-mobility and electrification. You will work with an agile, start-up mentality to promote and sell new products in an emerging category, testing and learning as the venture scales. Think of the role as working for a start-up, but with blue-chip resource and reputation!
About You
- You will have proven extensive experience managing Paid social activities across LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter platforms and will need to have a good understanding of media agency businesses.
- You will be very comfortable managing relationships with clients and colleagues and will have experience managing people.
- You will own areas of content on new business pitches and should expect to be asked to present your work. You will be responsible for delivering new business proposals and making a contribution to the revenue delivered by your team.
- We are looking to you to be a leader in the team in terms of how best to apply Social channel buying – given the brief, data and budget available.
- You will be a line manager and mentor to more junior members of the team and will help deliver the company's ambition for the development of the team.
- You will need to be up-to-date with developments within social channel buying, and pro-actively recommend ways to incorporate new ways of thinking into our work.
- You have a solid understanding of media finance booking processes, pacing management, and the impact of ad serving fees on costs.
- You can collaborate effectively with AdOps team to ensure paid social trafficking links are created with the correct taxonomy.
- You are proficient in independently preparing response to brief, post campaign analysis, and quarterly business review decks.
- You possess strong knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets formulas and can independently analyse data using pivot tables, SUMIFs, VLOOKUPs, conditional formatting, and graph creation to visualise performance.
