About the Role:

The role sits within the WEM (Western Europe Market) Philips Performance Media team and involves working closely with our 17 countries to enable the next phase of business and digital transformation for Philips. You will work and report into Managing Partner, Client Leadership and work in collaboration with the wider performance team to ensure the client business objectives are met.

The Executive Director, Performance is responsible for supporting our Western Europe Market (WEM) team across Personal Health for Philips. You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class media strategies and execution, connecting strategies across branding, performance media and ecommerce, and aligning to Philip’s business priorities. You will directly manage Director, Performance and support in management of their team of channel specialists, therefore a proven background in paid search, paid social, programmatic, affiliates and ecommerce is vital for you to define key workstreams and drive executional excellence, whilst ensuing innovation and knowledge sharing across the WEM countries. Amazon is a particular growth area for Philips and so having detailed knowledge of Amazon is crucial to this role.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, a problem-solver, with a proven background in performance media to deliver best service for Philips.

Specific areas of responsibilities involve:

  • Key stakeholder management across Philips WEM team
  • Direct management of Director, Performance and support in management of their team of Performance specialists
  • Connection and collaboration across the local countries
  • Defining the key priorities and workstreams for Philips at a WEM level, and collaborating with the countries to translate and deploy
  • Driving connection and knowledge sharing between the different OMC teams and agencies for Philips across the market
  • Additionally, you will be a part of the OMD EMEA Performance Community leadership, helping define our key priorities as an agency, contributing to internal priorities, workstreams and knowledge sharing

 

Skills and experience requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience managing digital media
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple departments and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of media agency ecosystem
  • Proven background in performance media, with expertise across paid search, paid social, programmatic, direct display and ecommerce, with a depth of specialism in at least one
  • Proven planning and activation experience for Amazon
  • Activation experience, coupled with strategic expertise
  • Excellent team management
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment, manage and influence key stakeholders including executive team members to ensure successful project deployment and delivery
