About the Role:
You’ll join the Ring team as our Paid Social Manager, leading and owning the EMEA Paid Social activity for the account. You will have the support of our Account Executives / Senior Execs, who will in turn benefit from your guidance and support throughout the process. You will be encouraged to drive campaign best practice through new methods and ideas that can improve client performance, as well as operations where needed. You will have experience in multiple social platforms, with experience in both awareness and conversion activity. You will be joining an account with a lot of potential for expansion, and a great team of talented people who are in search for new ideas, and delivering great work.
You’ll be working with multiple markets across EMEA – currently focussed on UK, DE, NL, FR and IT, but with big plans for expansion beyond this. Primary focus is on the mid-lower funnel in terms of campaign objectives, but there is a desire to move beyond this and embrace upper funnel strategies as well. Key channels in the short term will be Meta and TikTok, with solid experience here a key requirement.
In addition, you will be liaising directly with points of contact from Ring’s performance department, with the opportunity to help shape and evolve our paid social activations as we move in to 2025. We also work closely alongside OMG local teams to get the best understanding of local market specifics and requirements. Again, regular communication with these teams to help guide them through our centralised plans (whilst accounting for local nuance) will be a crucial element of the role.
The team currently comprises two account execs, one senior exec and a director, with a real need for manager level expertise and guidance to own social activations and develop the junior team members. We aim to promote a rewarding environment where hearing out and testing of new ideas from everyone, at all levels, is encouraged and appreciated.
- Substantial experience with managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and TikTok currently the core requirements, but wider experience in other platforms very welcome).
- You need to be comfortable working across Awareness and Consideration campaigns as well as lower funnel conversion campaigns.
- Experience working on global accounts (entertainment or retail) is a plus.
- Analyse ongoing results to ensure budget pacing and performance is met – good Excel skills are essential.
- Strong knowledge of Facebook Business Manager, as well as TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest and Twitter.
- Have polished presentation, communication and listening skills.
- Hands on experience in campaign execution, optimisation and analysis.
