The strategy department are the champions of strategic excellence and the architects of OMD Design, our end to end planning process. As a Strategy Director you will develop industry leading communication strategies through impactful application of insight, trends and compelling storytelling. Our work ranges from audience and behavioural insights to communications frameworks, opportunities for innovation, best in class channel execution and cutting edge measurement.
OMD operates a specialist first structure, meaning that strategists report into other strategists rather than client services. We believe this ensures our people have the greatest opportunity for growth by being closely connected to their peers and relevant seniors. Obviously strategists are still assessed against their contribution to client work and collaboration with client teams, meaning they are effectively a member of multiple departments and have to be able to collaborate with all.
In turn you will have the support of a department filled with brilliant thinkers, supported by a leadership team who believe in the value of strategy and its importance within the agency.
About You
Responsible for the day to day delivery of strategic outputs on key client accounts
Look for opportunities to recommend Strategy services that deliver incremental revenue
Develop strong relationships with clients and earn their trust through brilliant thinking and proactivity
Manage the roll out and adoption of strategy across the agency, particularly local networks
A passionate presenter with an ability to turn information into a compelling story
Able to connect heavy data with creative thinking
Understand the commercial needs of clients as well as our own agency, with an appetite to use strategy to grow revenues
Have a passion for understanding agency products and opportunities to evolve / improve them
