About The Role

Working for a dedicated set of clients and reporting to the Finance Manager, this person will be responsible for delivering flawless and timely billing of our media and fees, via maintaining and adapting critical financial infrastructure, process design and execution. The candidate will support multiple stakeholders to ensure processes are followed by all parties to facilitate the smooth flow of income and outgoings.

Responsibilities

Financial management

  • Maintain the PO tracker and other key financial documents.
  • Support PO reconciliations to ensure all costs are billed and within budget
  • Support the monitoring of debt
  • Resolve supplier/ booking queries
  • Act as key liaison between various stakeholders, ensuring strict financial deadlines are met each month.
  • Supporting the month-end billing (with PHD finance / OMG Shared Finance) to ensure no late bookings or aged unbilled costs
  • Ensure that media plans are available for campaign end dates and are fully reconciled.
  • Ensure that bookings and costings are correct prior to billing.
  • Offer support in troubleshooting issues.

Adhering to finance processes

  • Adhere to the finance processes, tracking work through the service desk and project management tools.
  • Suggest adaptations to processes where they are not leading to the desired outcome.

Managing usage of financial systems

  • Explore ways to deliver operational improvements by looking at how we use platforms in a more sophisticated way.

Training

  • Training new starters on finance processes, running through best practices and how to guides.

 

About You

  • Analytical and meticulous – prior experience with media agency billing structures is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A team-player who is adept at building relationships across diverse teams in different markets, in a culturally considerate manner.
  • Excellent organisational skills; capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines, while being able to articulate when additional support or guidance is necessary.
  • Attention to detail.
