Are you an expert in the use of data in media and marketing, looking for your next role that offers a chance to work with some of the biggest and best brands in the UK? Do you have a deep understanding of digital audiences and the tech and tools that go hand-in-hand?
MG OMD is looking for a Data & Technology Director to work closely with a portfolio of its most progressive clients, driving performance through effective use of data, enabled by appropriate technology.
This role is all about creating and delivering tangible data and technology progress for our clients. At the heart of the role is helping clients be more effective with data in their media activation (and often beyond).
While this often centres on 1PD, audience data and media activation, the scope is broad and regularly stretches into new territory. We are seeking a candidate who understands and can navigate the complexity of digital, cutting through the noise to deliver tangible, valuable outputs.
You will have a sound understanding of digital activation platforms and their audience/data capabilities, as well as key tech/platforms that play a role in organizing/connecting data between platforms (E.g. CDPs, Clean Rooms). You will be naturally inquisitive and stay well informed of the big questions facing the industry and our clients.
In this role you will:
- Create media-focused data strategies that deliver ROI for our clients
- Develop and implement data and technology roadmaps in collaboration with key client and agency stakeholders
- Establish and grow relationships with senior client stakeholders, in media/marketing teams and beyond
- Define, pitch and scope varied data and technology projects
- Demonstrate expertise in key marketing technology platforms
- Be seen as an expert by internal teams and clients
- Be a collaborator - bring together the best of MG OMD and Omnicom Media Group (OMG) to drive progress and create new solutions
We would love you to bring passion and expertise in equal measures – these are complex themes and it’s our role to bring them to life in ways that are engaging and understandable. As part of a small team, you’ll be comfortable quickly developing a network across the agency, being known as someone who develops effective solutions and who can be trusted to deliver.
