About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Client Service & Account team member to join our Global HSBC team. The candidate will get exposure to multiple lines of business and support Business Directors in client communications, media planning & activation, administrative and finance tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, excels in project management, has experience in client servicing and thrives on delivering service excellence. As a natural team player, you will contribute to the collective efforts of the team with your warmth and willingness to learn more.
We're looking for someone who is not afraid to navigate between roles and responsibilities, and bring their own experience and ideas to improve the ways of working. You are not just helping Business Leads on the day-to-day; you are a media planner or account exec who understands the fundamentals of media planning and is excited to collectively deliver media excellence to drive the client’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Business Lead as part of the vital connection between the clients, strategy team, Planning Director and digital activation team, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Feed into overall campaign strategy, bringing understanding of client’s media objectives into final digital media plan
- Work closely and collaborate with digital activation & campaign reporting; and with finance teams in campaign actualization, billings and invoicing in ensuring clients are billed accurately and in a timely manner
- Be the custodian in campaign management and media activation when it comes to offline media, sponsorship, content partnership etc.
- Familiar in finance system & processes, and be the custodian in leading any finance conversations between clients & OMG finance team
- Utilize great interpersonal skills in supporting the management of agency-client relationship, with the main goal to deliver clients satisfaction
- Opportunity to be the bridge between an innovative, cross-agency client set up where there will be opportunity to learn from a specialist financial services agency as well as the wider expertise of OMG’s consumer tools, technical skillsets & holistic media approach
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Excellent interpersonal skill and communication skill, capable of working with different people and conveying recommendations & approaches in a clear and compelling manner
- Proven ability to project manage, capable of putting on different hats at different times to ensure smooth operational processes.
- Knowledge in media planning, ability to apply consumer media &/or B2B consumption knowledge and common sense into conversations with clients.
- Aspire to work independently, taking ownership in certain parts of clients’ business and grow potential to lead a client’s portfolio
- Previous experience in financial services or B2B preferred but not essential
