Role Summary

The Digital Tracking Executive is responsible for media tracking across all markets to support media activation and campaign performance on the Jaguar and Land Rover account. This will require the candidate to have the technical ability to undertake custom coding work and subsequently have the communication skills to inform and instruct local teams of developments

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer partner tags within site event container tags, including upload and removal of partner tags as well as mapping data pass to partner tag
  • Monitoring of data capture and flow via the TMS to partners
  • Steward the approval of publishers / media partners, whilst maintaining high levels of compliance across onboarded partners
  • Provide troubleshooting support around issues such as broken tags, and partner-tag misfires
  • Serve as point of contact for internal and external business requirements around all tracking topics.
  • Supports TMS and wider teams with leading initiatives related to product development

Additionally, individual objectives are agreed and reviewed on a quarterly basis (as a minimum frequency).

  • Be a self-starter, capable of setting goals and reporting progress against them

Technical skillset requirements:

  • Market knowledge and experience working with Tag Management container solutions, mainly Google Tag Manager and other leading site analytics solutions e.g. Signal, Adobe and Tealium.
  • Experience with commonly used Ad Serving (including Video and Rich Media) platform technologies
  • Familiarity with media/advertising technology commonly used across digital marketing channels
  • Experience with URL tagging and URL structure at an advanced level
  • Understanding of the digital marketing or related sector especially on-site tracking tool
  • Knowledge of HTML/HTML5, XML, JavaScript, CSS and http protocols
  • Strong understanding of web technologies (e.g. http packet sniffing, URL structures, JavaScript, redirects etc.)

Key Experience:

  • Ad Operations and Ad Serving experience, knowledge and extensive experience using both DCM and GTM interfaces is essential.
  • Experience of managing, training and having responsibility for overseeing a team
  • Knowledge of other 3rd Party tools such as Adobe Analytics is advantageous.
  • Principal responsibilities will be planning ad serving / tagging structures and building global guidelines to govern ad server usage for key global clients
  • Ensuring that adserving accounts for key clients are set up optimally for agency and client requirements.
