About the Opportunity:
Enhancing the manual trading experience for retail clients, encompassing both APP and WEB platforms, stands as a pivotal focal point for propelling OKX's user growth. We are strategically committed to allocating substantial resources towards elevating the trading experience for diverse user categories, spanning advanced traders, speculative traders, and novice traders alike. The ambit and user scenarios will span across pre-trade (Markets, Chart analysis), trade (Layout, Order execution, and Chart trading, Position management), and post-trade (Asset analysis and Trading journal) phases.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of initiatives aimed at enriching the manual trading journey for users across various segments.
- Define and execute the product roadmap for trading experience enhancements, incorporating insights from user research, competitor analysis, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, data analysis, and marketing, to transform user-centric ideas into tangible product features and improvements.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of user behavior and feedback to identify pain points, opportunities, and trends, driving iterative improvements in the trading journey.
- Develop strategies to cater to the unique needs of advanced traders, speculating traders, and novice traders, adapting the trading platforms to cater to their distinct preferences and requirements.
- Establish a comprehensive understanding of the trading landscape, including market trends, chart analysis, and emerging technologies, and integrate these insights into product development strategies.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to optimize the layout and usability of trading interfaces, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience for users.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the efficient implementation of new features and improvements, maintaining a balance between innovation and operational feasibility.
- Measure and evaluate the impact of trading experience enhancements through well-defined metrics, utilizing data-driven insights to refine strategies and deliver optimal outcomes.
What We Look For In You:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of enhancing user experiences in trading or related domains.
- Solid background in manual trading processes, encompassing both APP and WEB platforms, coupled with a profound understanding of the needs and preferences of different trader personas.
- Demonstrated ability to translate user insights and feedback into actionable product improvements.
- A strong command of user experience, meticulous attention to detail, and a successful track record of crafting or optimizing highly regarded consumer-facing products.
- Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills, capable of aligning cross-functional teams towards a unified vision and executing complex projects.
- Strong analytical mindset, adept at using data to drive decision-making and validate hypotheses.
- Passion for the fintech industry and a deep interest in understanding trading behaviors, market dynamics, and emerging trends.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Substantial experience in FX/Stocks/Crypto trading.
- Proficiency in various schools of Technical Analysis and tools utilization.
