Finance Operations

  1. Checking all staff claims/reimbursement/vendor payments to ensure sufficient supporting documents and compliance with policies.
  2. Actively involve/communicate with stakeholders on the policies changes and continuous improvement to enhance the existing policies and reimbursement system.
  3. Processing of invoices and expense report in an accurate and timely manner.
  4. Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and maintaining financial records.
  5. Support in the preparation of financial statements and reports, help with month-end and year-end closing activities, which including journal posting and reconciliation.
  6. Communicate well within the team and make sure internal deadlines and reporting/planning expectations are met. Work closely with departments to resolve invoice and payment queries.
  7. Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, records, and reports.
  8. Assist in manage audit/tax requirement.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Treasury Management

  1. Independently perform treasury operations for Malaysia entities.
  2. Work as part of global treasury team to perform treasury operations for other APAC entities.
  3. Bank relationship and bank account management.
  4. Prepare weekly payment listing and consolidate all payment for cashflow reporting.

Desired Skills & Experience

  1. Possess a Degree in Accounting, or equivalent.
  2. 3-5 years of solid finance operations and treasury management experience in MNC and/or banking industry.
  3. Basic knowledge on FX transactions and bank deposit products.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel. Experience in using Oracle is an added advantage.
  5. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  7. Excellent organization, problem-solving, inter-personal and communication skills.
  8. A good team player.
