We develop growth-focused product strategies, manage cost/profitability and then deliver powerful strategies that guide customers through simple transaction workflows. About the Opportunity
 
As the Fraud and Risk Product Manager, you will own and build Okcoin's fraud and risk systems and manage the roadmap to enable our legitimate customers to gain access to a wide array of crypto assets. The scope of this role includes developing risk service solutions and platforms, integrationing with fraud & risk vendors, enabling healthy business growth and enhancing customer risk experience . This role will work closely with risk policy, risk analytics, operations, development partners and compliance to help define the fraud risk programs.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Align risk product development with business and risk strategy so that financial losses, customer experience and business growth are well balanced
  • Own product development of features and capabilities to manage fraud risk from inception to launch
  • Define and monitor all levels of metrics to measure the success of the product and utilize data insights for future product iteration
  • Work closely with risk strategy and policy, and payment and engineering teams to define detailed product specification, review technical capabilities, prioritize projects, and create & own the fraud risk product roadmap
  • Plan, organize, and deliver new fraud risk products and features to the market. Support other global product launches and ongoing product adoption
  • Oversee the design, development and management of real-time systems and models to combat fraud and minimize Okcoin's exposure to payments and platform risk
  • Understand financial and operational inefficiencies related to fraud and optimize processes and systems to improve them
  • Drive strategic alignment across others teams to ensure cohesive product functionality and value proposition
  • Stay informed of the overall market landscape, fraud risk and compliance implications, and fraud industry best practices
 
What We Look For In You:
  • 5+ years of fraud and risk product management experience
  • Experience designing and building fraud and risk systems - implementing fraud risk best practices with a track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Entrepreneurial spirit - Having worked in a fast paced environment, with competing resources and priorities. Ability to navigate through ambiguity to advocate for resources
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to translate strategy into clear and actionable plans for Product Development, Engineering, Design and Marketing
  • High proficiency delving into the technical product, system and implementation details. Able to engage with engineering beyond just product and user experience needs; willing to roll up sleeves and design scalable and extensible solutions
  • Data oriented - identifying, defining, tracking and acting upon impact metrics. Experience identifying KPIs and working with engineering and analytics on instrumentation and monitoring
  • Experience leading cross functional teams to deliver complex projects with multiple dependencies and constraints in a highly dynamic environment
  • Passion for Bitcoin, crypto, Defi and blockchain technology
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
 
Nice to Haves:
  • Past experience working with crypto platforms is strongly preferred
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $264,000.
 
The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
