ROLE DESCRIPTION

Capco is looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our APAC Team. This team is responsible for driving growth across the Capco business with a focus on large, complex, and strategic transactions. This is achieved through 
collaborating with Capco business leaders to engage in senior client conversations with a view of providing an offering that will deliver significant benefits and the best value to our clients, while achieving strong profitability for Capco.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design pricing strategies that have a significant degree of impact to cross-functional outcomes by maximizing commercial objectives and converting customer value to revenue and profit
  • Provide the market-based and value-based pricing recommendations to set pricing and commercial terms
  • Support pricing strategies and initiatives, collaborate with team members, seek support, direction, and buy-in from key stakeholders to generate strategies to solve complex problems and/or remove organizational barriers
  • Analyze new and emerging market trends to build an in-depth understanding of these issues and evaluate their impact upon key products and pricing strategies
  • Act as an expert advisor and solve complex pricing problems using pricing expertise and analytical thinking to resolve issues
  • Facilitate the development of cross-functional pricing strategies and engage with key stakeholders across teams to provide coaching to strengthen their understanding of pricing methodologies
  • Providing input and direction into the development of commercial and product pricing initiatives, and recommending step improvements that directly impact profitability

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in business, Engineering, Finance, Economics or other highly analytical field;
  • Strong commercial/ contracting acumen and can provide good judgment between Business requirements and risk mitigation.
  • Good knowledge of commercial negotiations and dealings, including contract laws, regulations, or best practices.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, flexible
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities along with Ability to interpret and comprehend basic financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Ability to work across borders and boundaries with cross-cultural and cross-functional teams
  • Detail oriented, well organized, with self-initiative and able to work under pressure and time constraints
  • Able to set priorities and juggle multiple demands
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Proficiency in Cantonese/Mandarin is an advantage
