Your Role
As an Capital Markets Business consultant at Capco, you will be responsible for working with clients to determine, structure, prioritise and implement their needs – be they wholesale transformation, Technology Change or Regulatory in nature.
AS PART OF THE BUSINESS CONSULTING TEAM AT CAPCO, THE BUSINESS CONSULTANT WILL
- Deliver subject matter expertise, thought leadership, and advise clients on asset servicing with a focus on all stages of the asset custody services lifecycle, including but not limited to event capture / position gathering / outcome processing / settlement, including proxy voting, dividends settlements etc.
- Work to deliver value to clients across their asset servicing portfolios.
- Analyse, design and document complex Target Operating Models, operational processes, user stories and functional requirements.
- Design & own project delivery plans, or support programme leadership in creation and maintenance of plans.
- Prepare for and facilitate client meetings & workshops with stakeholders across all seniority levels, including managing directors.
- Manage administration and maintenance of project management tools, including JIRA
- Develop and produce metrics & reporting where required, and present this to clients and stakeholders.
- Advise on, and implement, best practice change management practices across client change portfolios.
- Work closely with operations, technology and front-office to deliver best in class solutions for clients.
Your Skills and Experience
Capco is looking for strong post-trade change professionals in Capital Markets, with a focus on experience of Asset Services, specifically corporate actions.
Required
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience, and good understanding of corporate actions and income events across the full event lifecycle - event capture / position gathering / outcome processing / settlement, including proxy voting, dividends settlements etc.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience of delivering change in an investment banking, or buy-side, post-trade environment in either Project Management or Business Analyst roles.
- Experience of Broadridge application suite for post-trade processing.
- Strong experience of leading change in waterfall, agile and hybrid environments:
- Delivering change through all phases of project delivery, from initial feasibility assessment and business case analysis, through requirements, design, delivery, and transition to operations.
- Comfortable with agile development methodologies as part of hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experienced business analyst, able to:
- Elicit functional and non-functional requirements from business and operations stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and direction to technology, and partner with technology to deliver best-in-class solutions.
- Manage and negotiate expectations of senior leadership around tech delivery, balancing business needs with the possible.
- Experience in managing matrixed organisations and negotiating between operations, technology, vendors, and business stakeholders to achieve optimum outcomes.
- Experienced in managing and influencing senior level stakeholders up to and including managing directors.

- Experience of Broadridge ASTRID corporate actions.
- Experience of working in a professional services environment (consultancy) within Financial Services.
- Comfortable managing across multiple workstreams and effective prioritisation and time management, with experience of managing multiple projects/workstreams.
