About the Job:

In a typical financial services market, customer experience is key. But in today’s increasingly competitive market, customer experience is the primary differentiator. In a post-pandemic world, consumer expectations for personalized interaction are at an all-time high, but many Chief Marketing Officers in financial services firms cite operational inefficiency, technology limitations, data access, and hesitation adoption of artificial intelligence as the biggest roadblocks to deepening customer engagement.

As a Principal Consultant within our Marketing Services practice, you’ll equip our clients to implement efficient, scaled marketing operations with your deep subject matter expertise in marketing technology, campaign management, journey orchestration, automation, measurement, data activation, and foundational marketing capabilities.

You’ll leverage your knowledge of marketing strategy to make a substantive contribution on defining our service delivery solutions, supporting our sales efforts, and aligning projects with success factors defined by our leadership team to meet short- and long-term business goals.

We’re looking for a leader to help drive Marketing Services expansion within one of Capco’s largest clients by establishing and managing trusted executive relationships, understanding the client’s needs, and working collaboratively across teams to develop compelling solutions that deliver on our value proposition with quality.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to identify and define the target-state of marketing operations for our clients, and map the path forward
  • Assist clients in understanding which digital and marketing capabilities are needed to deliver on their marketing strategies. Where gaps exist, identify the solution and recommendations for closing them
  • Recommend changes to our clients’ marketing technology to fully enable the customer journey, including activation and use of data in delivering the content in the right channel
  • Define target-state marketing operating models for our clients and support transition from linear campaign execution to more agile ways of working
  • Support the redesign and automation of our clients’ campaign management processes
  • Define marketing measurement strategies and provide oversight for the creation and implementation of dashboards and data visualizations
  • Coach client stakeholders and team members on effective marketing operations at scale and prepare them for change readiness to implement new technology, redefined processes, or new approaches to data use
  • Document training, job aid, and procedural content for target state marketing operations and technology
  • Establish trusted relationships with client leadership at all levels and effectively manage a portfolio of highly visible initiatives to their satisfaction while creating transparency to Capco’s client leadership team on your efforts.
  •  Support engagement leads with all aspects of client delivery and remediate blockers
  • Provide thought leadership to guide clients through the creation and review of key metrics, outcomes, and reporting related to end-to-end marketing-led customer experiences
  • Assess and report the health of project delivery with objectivity, accuracy, and transparency while ensuring appropriate partners are engaged in risk identification and mitigation
  • Contribute to the ongoing definition of services within the Marketing Services practice
  • Craft and implement dashboards; synthesize data and present to executive leadership
  • Build strong client relationships and work collaboratively with diverse leaders
  • Communicate ideas, status, and risks to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Contribute to internal talent development and training initiatives
  • Support business development and sales pursuits

 What You’ll Bring with You:

  • 8+ years of experience working in marketing operations or an equivalent background in marketing operational disciplines including marketing technology, campaign management, campaign reporting, and data activation.
  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional delivery teams in a large enterprise environment
  • 5+ years of project management experience with proven project management skills
  • 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry and operating at a senior leadership level
  • Deep understanding of the current trends in marketing operations and the foundational capabilities required to deliver personalization at scale
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills
  • Experience working in a geographically distributed and culturally diverse work group
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, can handle the unexpected with flexibility

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
