ROLE OVERVIEW: 

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with expertise in Product Control, Commodities, and Financial Accounting to join our Strategic Technology work stream within the Product Control (PC) Transformation program. This role involves analyzing business requirements, supporting the delivery of strategic technology solutions, and ensuring alignment with the Business Transformation Framework (BTF). The successful candidate will play a critical role in enhancing P&L control, accounting, and regulatory reporting functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze business requirements and deliver the target technology toolset necessary to support P&L control, reporting, accounting, and regulatory reporting for Product Control
  • Produce high-quality project analysis covering data, process mapping, and benefit validation, ensuring all documentation aligns with the Business Transformation Framework (BTF)
  • Work closely with the local Product Control team to assess the impact of transformation requirements on daily activities
  • Document required changes in detail, covering requirements, impact, and business benefits, in accordance with BTF guidelines
  • Lead the business in the system test phase of the project, ensuring adequate test coverage of Finance requirements
  • Liaise effectively with Finance, Product Control, and IT teams to confirm requirements, data attributes, analysis and design, testing, and business delivery
  • Perform data analysis accurately and efficiently, ensuring alignment with project milestones and objectives.

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior working knowledge of Global Banking and Markets, particularly in functions such as Product Control
  • Experience in commodities and financial accounting within a large financial institution
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and the associated impacts on product control
  • A solid understanding of the project lifecycle and experience in driving projects through various phases, from initiation to implementation
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to solve complex problems efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and produce clear, comprehensive project documentation
  • A strong focus on delivery with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, including business heads, senior managers, third-party consultants, technical experts, and business users
