Our Global Insurance Practice is our fastest growing vertical business in Europe. Our multi-region model allows us an understanding of different market maturities and developments, which enables us to take learnings and insight from one insurance market and maximize client outcomes in another.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced integrator of Insurance Policy & Claims Administration Systems to join our Swiss Insurance Practice in Zurich and Geneva, Switzerland. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in integrating Insurance Policy and Claims Administration Systems within the Property & Casualty, Life Insurance, or Health Insurance sectors and play a key role in the preselection, planning, implementation, and testing of new insurance policy and claims administration systems or the modernization of legacy platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of system architecture, platform functionalities, and the technical intricacies of migrating policies from one platform to an-other. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Any additional insurance related strategic, technology or digital projects that you may have been involved in in the past, represent an additional asset. YOUR CAPCO DAY:

 

  • Client Engagement Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will be working primarily on mandates related to insurance core platforms but shall be prepared to be deployed in other insurance related projects if need be. You will collaborate with international and domestic Property & Casualty, Life & Health insurance clients to understand their business challenges and opportunities and reply to RFIs and RFPs.

 

  • Consulting and Advisory Provide business advice to insurers seeking a replacement or modernization of their legacy Policy Administration and Claims System. This may include running RFPs to determine the best vendor solution, running a market analysis or conducting an initial feasibility study respectively business plan assessment.

 

  • Lead Integration Projects Oversee the integration of new Insurance Policy and Claims Administration Systems for Property & Casualty, Life Insurance, or Health Insurance lines of business. Provide support along all project phases from concept development and requirements analysis to implementation in business and technology. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

 

  • System Architecture and Functionality Develop a deep understanding of the architecture and functionalities of both existing and new policy administration platforms.

 

  • Technical Migration Manage the technical and commercial migration of policies and claims data from source platforms to target platforms, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

 

  • Collaboration Coordinate with technical and business teams to align integration efforts with business goals. Build your internal networks and work hand-in-hand with our functional experts and insurance experts across all Capco markets to bring the best possible solutions to our clients.

 

  • Testing and Validation Conduct thorough testing to validate the success of integration and migration processes.

 

  • Training and Support Provide training and support to client teams to ensure smooth adoption and utilization of new systems.

 

  • Project Documentation Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including integration plans, timelines, and progress reports.

 

  • Tool Evaluation Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies to support integration and migration processes.

 

  • Thought Leadership Develop and share insights on industry trends and best practices. Contribute to the firm’s knowledge base through research, white papers, and presentations. Help to broaden and deepen our expertise and expand our service offering.

 

 

 

YOUR CAPCO FIT:

 

 

  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in integrating Insurance Policy and Claims Administration Systems within Property & Casualty, Life Insurance, or Health Insurance sectors. Your experience can either be with insurers, consulting firms, system integrators or vendors of Policy Administration solutions.
  • Proven experience with the technical and/or commercial migration of insurance policies from one platform to another.
  • Experience in additional insurance-related strategic, technology or digital projects is an asset and represents a meaningful competitive advantage for the role.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture and platform functionalities.
  • Knowledge of the Swiss market for Policy Administration Platforms – in any line of business – is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and data security and privacy best practices in Switzerland are a plus – particularly in the context of insurance data.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken) additional languages are a plus.
