*We are looking for Poland based candidate. The job is remote but may require some business trips to Krakow or Warsaw every two weeks or more.

The Solution Architect for Digital Transformation in a bank will be responsible for designing, overseeing and implementing innovative technology solutions that enable the institution's transformation goals. This role involves collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to create scalable, secure and efficient architectures that align with the bank's strategy, regulatory requirements and customer experiences.

 
THINGS YOU WILL DO 

  • New high-level architecture design review and assessment
  • Providing recommendations and preparing detailed target architecture based on these recommendations
  • Further consultancy on building this new architecture in the Bank
  • Design e-2-e solutions for digital transformation initiatives, such as core banking modernization, open banking and advanced customer engagement platforms
  • Define the technology roadmap to transition from legacy systems to modern, cloud-native, and API driven architectures
  • Ensure alignment of solutions with the bank's business objectives and enterprise architecture standards
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies (e.g. cloud computing, microservices, AI/ML, blockchain, Open Banking APIs) to enhance banking operations
  • Advocate for secure, scalable and resilient architectural patterns, ensuring adherence to industry best practices
  • Drive the adoption of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments for efficient delivery
  • Ensure all solutions meet banking industry regulations, including GDPR, PSD2, ISO 20022, AML/KYC requirements

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • Solid experience as a Solution Architect
  • Solid experience in Cloud-based solutions for banking/insurance/fin-tech industry
  • Hands-on experience in digital transformation of bank’s operations and/or strategy
  • Relevant experience in Enterprise/Solution Architecture, knowledge of Architectural and industry frameworks, a portfolio of successful digital transformation/business driven projects
  • Familiarity with frameworks and standards: TOGAF, BIAN, ArchiMate
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Broad understanding of information technology topics 
  • Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability 
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone acquiring new skills 
  • Flexible in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities 
  • Technically creative and open-minded 
  • Experience in working in Agile, Scrum 
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
