ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a HR Business Partner based in Hong Kong with expertise to manage all people-related issues, providing guidance and counsel to the business. You are someone who understands how to solve problems by being a true partner and consultant to business leaders and employees.
This is a hands-on role and to be successful in this role, you should have extensive HR business partnering and operational experience.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the business and provide HR guidance.
- Drive the implementation of both regional and global people priorities, focusing on enhancing the employee experience to improve employee engagement.
- Act as a point of contact and program manager for people tools, processes, initiatives, and projects.
- Work with the Leadership team to create a culture of coaching and ongoing feedback
- Coach, train and guide managers during the People performance and compensation processes.
- Lead HR projects like compensation and benefit reviews.
- Oversee our payroll, benefits, and employee onboarding experience.
- Design company policies and procedures
- Foster a culture of inclusion
- Analyse data trends and identify emerging needs, and address them with innovative people programs, tools, and processes.
- Collaborate with the APAC HR Operations team to ensure efficient execution of HR processes and implement change as required
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years as a HR Business Partner
- Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking and analysis.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the firm
- A data-driven approach with proven experience applying metrics to implement change in the business.
- An ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and able to manage multiple simultaneous priorities.
- Experience in designing compensation and benefits programs
- Leadership abilities
- A highly responsive and service-oriented approach with strong organizational and follow-up skills
- An ability to connect well with employees, with a high degree of empathy while being able to maintain a strong business orientation
- Good knowledge of local employment laws to ensure compliance in Hong Kong and the ability to apply those laws to our current and future employees
- English required, Cantonese and Mandarin are advantageous.
