INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST: AMERICAS

ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting opportunity for an Internal Communications professional to help execute Capco’s internal communications strategy for our businesses in the US and Canada. This role will work closely with our Marketing and Communications team and requires excellent writing skills to craft clear and compelling internal communications of the highest quality.
You will support with the strategy, planning and tactical delivery of messages across Capco’s Americas employee base to ensure employees are informed and engaged. As a trusted business partner to the leadership team and all corporate services functions, you will have strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable in a high-performing fast-paced environment and be able to produce executive level communications and all-employee communications quickly and efficiently. With responsibility extending across multiple geographies, you will need to be highly adept at multitasking, prioritizing effectively and have an uncompromising commitment to quality, superb writing, editorial and event management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce engaging internal communications, both BAU and project related, to support our US and Canadian businesses.
- Support with leadership communications across multiple channels, including producing content for written updates and Town Halls.
- Help drive the timely and effective delivery of communications for in creative ways, reflecting Capco’s culture and values.
- Provide strategic guidance for communications planning, editorial and delivery.
- Own and optimize internal comms channels (email, newsletters, MS Teams, Intranet, Town Halls etc) streamline calendar and track metrics to measure success and impact.
- Partner with all Corporate Services functions to translate their business objectives into tactical communications plans that deliver impactful results and bring about meaningful change.
- Partner with Employee Communities and Affinity Groups to communicate events and initiatives which reinforce Capco’s #BeYourselfAtWork culture, commitment to CSR and DEI.
- Oversee the content management and ongoing development of SharePoint based Intranets, including hands on publishing and giving counsel to content owners.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role.
- Exceptional writing and editorial skills, including experience writing for senior executives.
- Ability to formulate clear and concise executive and strategic messages to internal audiences and ensure delivery in a fast-paced environment
- A strong understanding of digital and other communication channels
- Extremely organized with unfailing attention to detail and comfortable multi-tasking
- Professional and executive presence conducive to working with senior leadership
- Proficient user of Microsoft Suite including SharePoint Communications Sites
- Experience working with and maintaining confidential and sensitive information
- Background in the financial services industry and/or consulting is preferred
