B.E/B.tech/BCA/MCA/B.Sc/M.Sc related technical field required.

Role Description

Tech Skills:

  1. Strong in Core Java, familiar with latest concepts e.g. Java 17
  2. Familiar with Spring Boot, JSON, XML, Yaml configs etc.
  3. Sound knowledge of Rest API w.r.t Security, Performance, Logging and Error Handling
  4. Hands on with Tools like Postman, Swagger, ELK(Logs), AWS Cloud Watch etc.
  5. Familiar with Deployment processes and Network concepts
  6. Knowledge of AWS Cloud (good to have)
  7. Should have good understanding of DB and should be able to write basic SQL queries

Tech Owner Responsibilities: 

  1. Act as technical SME for the EPIC assigned and drive EPIC refinements from technical standpoint
  2. Review and sign off technical designs created by Backbase [Ensuring security/performance/NFRS are considered for the transaction (feature)]  and provide technical approval on User Stories
  3. Own solutioning alongside squads/Enterprise Architect/Engineering Manager
  4. Own/Drive API discussions with OBP (Interfacing Platform) and Product Processor / external interfaces
  5. Own the challenges / clarifications required by the squad and ensure timely clarifications are provided
  6. Ability to take up API discovery, troubleshooting and analysis
  7. Resolve technical impediments and defects
  8. Troubleshoot issues as required in various environments
  9. Escalate to Engineering Manager/Program management team on issues/risks/API issues not getting resolved
  10. Ensure API documentation & clarifications are documented for future use

Highlights:

  1. No development or coding in this role
  2. Analysis, Service Discovery, Design Reviews, Config Reviews and Troubleshooting are the main tasks
  3. Good communication skill
  4. Should be able to co-ordinate with different teams on technical aspects and bring things to closure
