POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Murex Reporting Developer with a strong background in Datamart development and Murex platform expertise. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience working on Murex or related platforms, with proven skills in designing, building, and testing Datamart reports. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Datamart Development: Independently design, build, and test complex Datamart reports within the Murex platform.
  • Project Involvement: Participate in Murex implementation, upgrades, new product initiation, and regulatory projects, ensuring a clear understanding of the various stages of the project life cycle.
  • Analytical & Debugging: Modify and enhance existing complex Datamart objects, utilizing strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Unix/Shell Scripting: Develop and debug shell scripts, navigating through existing code to understand dependencies independently.
  • SQL/PLSQL Expertise: Leverage strong competence in SQL/PLSQL and RDBMS concepts to ensure robust data handling and processing.
  • Murex Setup & Configuration: Maintain a deep understanding of Murex setup and configurations across Windows and Unix operating systems.
  • Product Knowledge: Apply a deep understanding of exchange-traded and OTC derivatives, with specific focus on Credit and Rates products, and their life cycles.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of demonstrable experience as a Datamart Developer with Murex or related platforms.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Extensive experience in Unix/Shell scripting (6-7 years).
    • High competence with SQL/PLSQL and RDBMS concepts.
    • Strong understanding of Murex setup/configurations in Windows and Unix environments.
  • Product Knowledge: Must possess a solid understanding of both exchange-traded and OTC derivatives, focusing on Credit and Rates products.
  • Core Murex & MxML: Sound knowledge of core Murex functionalities and MxML exchange is a plus.
  • Project Management: Project management skills and the ability to lead initiatives are highly desirable.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead, guide, and mentor a team of experienced Datamart resources.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with a high level of client interfacing.
  • Multitasking: Proven ability to handle multiple tasks with competing priorities effectively.
  • Global Exposure: Experience working with global clients and multi-cultural teams is a plus.
