ROLE DESCRIPTION

This role offers the chance to lead a team to advise and deliver change projects as part of a long-term strategic partnership with one of the leading financial institutions in the world.

The objective of the project is to provision and deliver ESG data, analytics, and modelling, enabling the organisation to extract actionable insights and meet internal, regulatory and reporting requirements. We are looking for experienced managers to lead a team of Business Analysts and Data Analysts to help in this implementation in a scalable agile delivery model.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for engaging with customers and stakeholders, mobilising and managing delivery across DAO ESG use cases, followed by transitioning completed use cases to the BAU utility
  • Drive a cross-functional team comprised of business analysts, data analysts, data scientists and visualisation specialists to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with the central data asset, architecture, data sourcing, technology and vendor data teams to drive the strategic buildout of high quality reusable data assets, analytics and BI.
  • Ensure their team’s alignment to Agile practices and ceremonies, as well as adherence to the firm’s standards and governance.
  • Where applicable, the Pod Lead will also operate as a “relationship manager”, partnering closely the product owners to identify new opportunities and demand.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Delivery track record using Agile 
  • Knowledge of data and analytics delivery life cycle 
  • Experience in managing teams with diverse skillsets and disciplines to deliver exceptional customer service and value. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent problem solving skills. 
  • Experience in forming advisory relationship with senior managers. 
  • Experience of working with on premise and/or cloud data refineries preferable.
  • Experience with one or more visualization technologies, Qlik or Tableau preferable 
  • Experience in data privacy, model risk management preferable. 
  • Experience in delivering in a highly regulated environment preferable.
