Director - Talent Acquisition

Role Brief:

Shape our future! We're seeking a Director - Talent Acquisition to lead our Lateral recruitment efforts and build a diverse, high-performing team.

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Talent Acquisition leader to drive all aspects of our Lateral recruitment efforts. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract, hire, and retain top talent across all departments, including technology, business roles and lateral/leadership positions.  This crucial role will report directly to the CHRO and play a key part in shaping our company culture and driving our business goals through strategic talent acquisition.


  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of the lateral recruitment process, from job requisition to offer acceptance, for all tech, non-tech, and leadership positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers across departments to understand their specific needs and develop targeted sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber candidates.
  • Implement innovative sourcing techniques and leverage technology platforms to identify and build talent pipelines for future needs.
  • Manage and mentor a team of recruiters, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure a high-performing talent acquisition team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with professional organizations and recruitment agencies to map and build a talent pipeline to cater to organization requirements.
  • Champion and promote employer branding interventions partnering with internal teams to attract top talent and build a strong brand reputation and recall.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Design and implement recruitment processes to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring cycle, from initial contact to offer and onboarding.
  • Develop and implement a strong diversity and inclusion strategy to attract and retain a diverse workforce.
  • Manage the talent acquisition budget and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and engage in external talent forums and best practices in talent acquisition.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources
  • 15 – 20 years of experience in talent acquisition with at least 5 years in functional leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies across diverse industries and positions, including tech, non-tech, and leadership hiring.
  • Strong understanding of the current recruitment landscape and emerging trends in talent acquisition.
  • Experience in building and managing high-performing recruitment teams.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and evolving work environment
  • Experience in partnering and overseeing implementation of recruiting technology platforms is added advantage
