About Team
The Marketplace & Omni team is responsible for shaping the business structure, operations, selection and
profitability of the Marketplace & Omni business at Myntra. The team is a part of the business org and
liaisons with various teams across the organization to drive critical projects as Myntra shifts to a
marketplace centric approach.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Role: As a Deputy Director – Tech Initiatives in the Marketplace & Omni team, the incumbent would be
responsible for shaping the tech capabilities of Marketplace & Omni ecosystem across MP & Omni growth,
brand growth, customer experience, seller ease of doing business and cost of doing business charters.
Responsibilities:
• Benchmarks with ecommerce marketplaces to create tech roadmap for MP & Omni business
• Conduct stakeholder connects to identify tech driven solutions to (not limited to)
• Improve data visibility to sellers across sales funnel, marketing effectiveness etc.
• Enable ease of doing business and inv. visibility for sellers on “Seller inventory in Myntra warehouse” biz model
• Facilitate ease of financial reconciliation to sellers
• Create tech for new business models as per business requirement
• Enable self serve for sellers to bring in agility of decision making & execution
• Build best in class Ads tech for brand scale up
• Structure and conduct analyses to come up with data backed insights to prioritize tech initiatives with Product managers
• Help create monthly, quarterly and yearly tech roadmap for MP & Omni business
• Create structured business requirement documents
• Track the status of the initiatives vs. the expected timelines & intended impact
• Highlight issues and problem with the relevant stakeholders to make sure the initiatives are on track
• Drive adoption & achieve intended benefit from business stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience:
• 5-7 years of experience in working on data driven tech driven programs end to end with at least 4+ years of post-MBA experience
• Graduation from a top tier institute – Preferably B.E/B.Tech
• MBA from a tier 1 institute – IIMs/ISB/other tier 1 institutes
• Strong analytical and presentation capabilities (Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, SQL etc.)
• Sharp business acumen and problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to drive large tech enabled transformation programs
• Ecommerce experience and tech background is preferred
