Roles & Responsibilities

  • Adapt with the latest trends in fashion, product ideas, colors, prints, fabrics, and styling
  • Collection Design development in line with target costs: Sketches/Illustrations/Graphics
  • Creating line sheet based on trends and with appropriate design /color/prints
  •  Maintaining line sheets for seasonal range plans/range plan aligned with assortment planning
  • and buying requirements
  •  Responsible for creating detailed tech packs that illustrate design and construction details with
  • speed and accuracy
  •  Collaborate with Buying and Sourcing teams for effective design development
  •  Drive and close effective Fit sessions
  •  Fabric/print/surface design follow up and approvals, travel to factories, new vendors
  •  Execute timely on seasonal calendar deadlines
  •  Maintain and improve product quality by taking corrective steps at ground level i.e. fabric, fit, wash, workmanship.
  •  Collation of Trends designed as an overview

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3-5 years’ working experience with Grad/Post-grad from NIFT/Pearl or other relevant designing background
  • Demonstrates high level aesthetics and creative ability 
  • Strong in organisational skills and highly detail-oriented
  • Strong in communication and articulation of ideas
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and calendars
  • Ability to handle work independently with minimal supervision
  • High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Should be in a career break for a minimum of 1 year, at present (mandatory)
