Job Description

Location: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mohali

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate extensively with Developers, operation engineers, subject matter experts, and various product stakeholders to achieve product outcomes.

Responsibilities

Update and Improve the Release Automation framework.

Create and update the CI pipelines using Jenkins.

Administration of DevOps tools like Bitbucket,Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus ArgoCD, etc.

Maintain the Release team Infrastructure using Terraform and AWS.

Create and update Jenkins build agents using dockerfiles.

Work with Engineering, QA, and Operation teams on CI/CD pipeline and release process improvements, including security (DevSecOps), and monitoring & observability.

Handle software release and users support requests, and participate in team’s support rotation.

Advocate and implement industry best practices and standards.

Qualifications

6-8 years of experience in DevOps/DevSecOps,Infrastructure automation and CI/CD etc.

Experience writing and developing CI/CD Pipelines using Jenkins Pipeline Jobs ( Jenkinsfiles) and knowledge of build tools like make/gradle/npm etc.

Solid understanding of Docker/Packer for configuring build and infrastructure environments.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code and tools such as Terraform.

Experience working with scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, Bash etc

Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS/Azure.

Understanding of configurations as code and tools such as Ansible/Chef.

Experience in managing production grade Kubernetes clusters

Knowledge of Monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana or similar tools.

Understanding of GitOps and ArgoCD Concepts/workflows.

Knowledge on Various flavours of OS like Linux(RedHat, CentOS, etc) and Windows.

Love of documenting solutions such that the person who follows you can walk in your footsteps.

You are a motivated self-starter who knows how to identify key tasks and follow through to completion.
