Position- Director of Platform Training, Delivery
Location- San Jose, CA
As a Director of Zscaler Platform Training Delivery, you'll oversee the vision, oversight and coordination of all aspects of Zscaler Platform Training Delivery. You'll report to the head of Zscaler Product Education, VP of Platform Training and Certification, and will work with leaders of content development, certification and education operation within the training team.
Specifically, your job responsibilities will include the following:
- Build and manage the Global Platform Training Delivery team by hiring and mentoring them to deliver training sessions to a diverse audience
- Collaborate with important partners within the Training team and other groups to coordinate Customer, Partner, and Employee Training schedules across EMEA, LATAM & JAPAC
- Manage instructor certification workshops and Train-the-Trainer sessions
- Setup a Authorized training partner program managing the relations, partner audits, commercials and trainer readiness.
- Maintain the high team standards for content delivery and customer service
- Manage delivery of training to three important audiences in EMEA and JAPAC:
- Customers
- Partner - including establishing portfolio's and methodologies for both pre- and post-sales
- Employees
- Establish and manage a Skills Matrix for Authorized Training Partner; Subcontractors, Contractors
- Ensure of training delivery globally for all our audiences
- Work with important customer accounts to conduct needs analysis and subsequent scheduling of required training sessions
- Collaborate with important training partners (Content, Certification) to ensure that systems, as well as, necessary processes are defined and managed for technical training labs, their exercises, and assessment protocols
- Define, setup, document, and manage the training delivery operations for efficient team functioning
- Maintain the high level of CSAT from post class evaluations
- Promote opportunities to increase post-sales enablement activities throughout the regions
- Support the content development and certification teams by providing SME support.
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 10+ years of experience in delivery of technical training and related business experience in the networking security industry
- 5+ years experience with products used to secure data in transit in the public cloud, such as Proxy and Zero Trust
- BS required/ MS preferred in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines
- Ability to travel up to 25-50% a month worldwide (post COVID era)
- Have or can obtain a passport and driver's license
- What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- (Desired) U.S. Government security clearance or willingness to obtain one.
- Network security background
- Experience with SOC Operations and security analytics
- Knowledge of adult learning principles
- Team player
