We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Ramat Gan and report to the Manager, Software Engineering.

As a DevOps Engineer at Avalor, you will be a key player in our technology-driven journey. You will work with a diverse team to shape and maintain our infrastructure, streamline deployment processes, and integrate new technologies seamlessly.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize Kubernetes clusters to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment processes
  • Oversee the deployment and management of applications using ArgoCD, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
  • Leverage IaC tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt to build and manage infrastructure, providing a solid foundation for our applications
  • Maintain a keen awareness of production environments, proactively identifying and addressing issues to ensure system stability and performance
  • Actively research and implement new technologies to enhance our infrastructure and keep us on the cutting edge
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and pain points, providing solutions and support
  • Contribute to projects that enhance the efficiency, security, and reliability of our systems

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 4+ years of professional experience as a DevOps with a strong track record of success
  • 2+ years of professional experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Experienced in creating, deploying, and overseeing CI/CD pipelines, particularly with tools like Git, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally with a strong foundation in Terraform/OpenTF
  • Experience in managing container and infrastructure orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Familiarity with API Gateway technologies and their integration in a DevOps environment
  • Experience with developer portals (e.g., Backstage) and their integration into the development workflow
  • Ready to actively contribute to a collaborative and innovative team
  • A genuine passion for staying updated on the latest technologies and a drive to implement them in our infrastructure
