We're looking for an experience Site Reliability Engineer to join our Zscaler team. Reporting to the Sr. Director , you'll be responsible for:

- With a complete intolerance to manual work you will create Toil reduction through automation and tooling
- Be a forcing factor within the organization as we transform to a world leading SRE organization
- Promote organizational excellence by building scalable process frameworks which promote rapid responses to availability issues
- Promote holistic observability, High fidelity and low frequency alerting, zero touch operations and automation first strategies.
- Promote standardized tooling around deployment, capacity management, service on boarding to ensure seamless implementation with built in scalability over time.
- Drive infrastructure, tooling and process improvements which improve overall system reliability
- Work with Product SRE teams to ensure adoption of SRE best practice, tooling and capability within those teams. Ensure seamless transfer of support responsibilities
- Ensure all services and product elements are built to adopt standardized capabilities around deployment, patching, capacity management to let effortless scalability and work beating reliability
- Build technical training capabilities to ensure the SRE organization is a destination for people in their career while providing a learning culture.
- Support and troubleshoot multiple large-scale distributed software applications and networks
- Promote best practices for reliability within Engineering Department
- Participate and lead projects from intake to closure
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 4+ years professional SRE experience
- Proficiency with a programming language Python, Go and scripting languages "Bash"
- Expert level knowledge across a variety of infrastructure components such as Linux, Networking, Observability and databases.
- Experienced in the culture of SRE in comparable technology environments.
- Experience driving automation first environments with the ability to build tooling and automations at scale.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field involving computer systems engineering, or equivalent practical experien
