We're looking for an experienced Manager, Documentation to join our Product Management team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Technical Publications, at Bangalore location

Responsibilities/What You'll Do

Translate technical information into clear documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ensure that your team delivers post-sales content for online documentation (i.e., help articles, release notes) and provide UI text (i.e., UI tooltips, labels, error messages) for use by our UX and Engineering teams on the schedule.
Ensure that your team integrates graphics and illustrations to improve the quality and usability of the documentation.
Be the "voice" for the Technical Publications team when working with Product Managers, Engineers, Sales, Product Marketing, and all other teams at Zscaler. Be the "champion" and advocate for your direct reports and the team. Help define standards, style, and terminology.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

8-12 years of experience in technical writing.
2+ years of managerial experience.
Project management experience with an ability to mentor the team. Resolve and focus on maintaining a proper work-life balance for all your direct reports, and yourself.

With a understanding of the process and procedural documentation, content reuse, and documentation delivery.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in technical writing, communications, or a related field (i.e., technical writing/communications certifications are also acceptable).
Excellent in oral, written, analytical and is to work independently and also as a part of the team.
Someone with Networking, Cloud, Security domain expertise will be a good fit to the role.
Hands-on experience with HTML5/CSS and JIRA.
