Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Deployment Specialist to join our Zscaler product team and have a direct impact on the adoption of Zscaler’s new identity platform. In this role you will work directly with customers and operationalize deployment methodologies of identity services, including the migration of existing customers. You must be organized and detail oriented in order to track progress towards migrating existing customers, manage exceptions, and identifying ways to improve the process. This position is the first of what is expected to grow into a small team.


  • Migrate existing customers to Zscaler’s new identity platform
  • Identify and advocate for process and product improvements to accelerate migration
  • Engage cross team colleagues to collect customer profile data to prioritize migration candidates
  • Support new customers deploying Zscaler identity services
  • Understand and be able to describe identity standards as supported by Zscaler products
  • Deliver high quality demos on identity features as supported across existing and new Zscaler services
  • Gain expertise in identity platforms provided by Zscaler partners (Microsoft, Okta, Ping Identity, Sailpoint, etc.)
  • Ability to work during US or European Shift hours is required, role could be 100% remote or based out of one of the Zscaler offices in India


  • Fundamental understanding of web, networking and device technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with customers in a technical role.
  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise security software.
  • 3+ years of experience in authentication and single sign-on.
  • Passion to make customers successful.
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor to customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and track the engagement and activity using various project management tools.
  • Ability to understand and improve processes.
  • Prior people management experience.
