Capco is growing its Capital Markets Data Practice in our London office. Our Capital Markets Data Practice brings together the best thinking from our industry leading Capco Data Practice (Winner of 'Best Consultancy in Data Management' in the Data Management Insight Awards 2021) with our deep expertise and history within Capital Markets.

Data is a key focus for our Capital Markets clients - The value of the data asset is growing rapidly on the back of increasing volumes and improved technology capabilities. Financial institutions need, now more than ever, to get data right across the enterprise.

We are currently seeking to recruit Capital Markets data consultants across all levels across the full data spectrum, including data strategy, data governance, data operating model, data management, data architecture and data analytics, to lead and implement leading-edge data projects for our leading Financial Services clients.

Our Capital Markets data consultants are passionate about data, capital markets industry trends and catapulting the industry towards a new data driven future. Each team member and leader will develop the UK Data Practice capabilities and the broader Global Data Practice to support industry changing topics. As a team member, collaboration, enthusiasm and encouragement are key to ensuring we maintain our culture and ensure we work in an environment where clients become colleagues.


  • A strong track record of data delivery in a Capital Markets environment and an enthusiasm to drive the industry forward
  • Understanding of data management, data architecture and/or data analytics concepts such as Data Governance, Data Lineage, Data Models, Data Quality, Data Analysis etc.
  • Experience advising on key data management topics and regulation e.g. CCAR, BCBS 239 etc.
  • Experience in the following areas would be advantageous: Finance, Liquidity, Treasury; Post Trade Optimisation, IB Data Fabric/Mesh, IB Vendor Packages (Murex, Calypso etc.)
  • Desired experience with data tooling e.g. Collibra, Solidatus, Alteryx etc.
  • Desirable experience in programme execution, business analysis and change management – proven ability to shape, design and manage the execution of data changes
  • Desirable experience as a Management Consultant
