We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with specialized expertise in the banking domain to join our dynamic team.
As a Solution Architect, you will be respon-sible for designing and implementing innovative, scalable, and robust solutions that address the unique challenges and requirements of the banking industry.
You will col-laborate closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, technology teams, and external partners, to understand business needs, define architectural requirements, and develop strategic solutions that drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency.
You will be able guiding the team across multiple technologies and review deliverables to ensure good quality and smooth functioning of systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Architectural Design and Planning:
• Lead the design and development of end-to-end solutions for Capital Markets, Regulatory compliance, and other related areas.
• Define and document architectural standards, guidelines, and best prac-tices to ensure consistency, scalability, and maintainability of solutions.
• Evaluate existing systems, technologies, and processes to identify oppor-tunities for improvement and optimization.
• Develop architectural roadmaps and migration plans to guide the evolution of banking systems and infrastructure.
2. Solution Development and Implementation:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business require-ments into technical solutions that align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Design and prototype solution architectures, leveraging a combination of industry-standard technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Oversee the implementation of solutions, providing technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the software develop-ment lifecycle.
• Conduct architectural reviews and ensure compliance with architectural standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
3. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs, priorities, and challenges, and translate them into actionable architectural require-ments.
• Communicate technical concepts and architectural decisions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborate with vendors, partners, and third-party providers to evaluate and integrate external solutions and services into the overall architecture.
4. Leadership and Mentoring:
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior architects, developers, and technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and con-tinuous learning.
• Mentor team members on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in banking architecture and design. • Drive innovation and thought leadership within the organization, staying abreast of market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes in the banking industry. Technology Proficiency
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex, enterprise-scale solutions in the banking domain, including Capital Markets, Regulatory Report-ing and digital banking.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming (Java 8+) language and related frame-works. Java REST & SOAP Web services.
• Expertise in Sprint Boot Microservice Architecture, Spring Batch and other Spring core modules.
• Working experience in Microservices related tools such as API Gateway, ELK stack.
• In-depth understanding of microservices architecture principles, patterns, and best practices. • Good experience in Kafka – streaming Processing, Security & Message Han-dling.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD Tools (Knowledge in Azure Devops would be good)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies using OpenShift 4 and familiar with all the deployment configuration and monitoring techniques of OpenShift.
• Familiarity with one of the cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• In depth experience in PostgreSQL or similar databases. • Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF Certified, AWS/Azure/GCP Certified Solu-tions Architect, etc.) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance technical feasibility, business requirements, and architectural princi-ples.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact ef-fectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
