Capco is looking for a Cloud Developer, someone who focuses on developing applications for the cloud to work with our all-star team and deliver value to our clients in the financial services space.
About the Role
Responsibilities
- Independently interacts with key business & technology stakeholders to define, analyse, and deliver requirements that reflect the needs of both the business and end-customers
- Works towards diagnosing client challenges and implementing innovative solutions
- Builds solutions that are supportable and scalable
- Designs solutions, develops appropriate artifacts / documentation, and facilitates final delivery
- Collaboration as part of an Agile development team, participation in daily stand-ups, identification of blocking and critical path steps
- Work closely with the Core Engineering and Product teams, identify and recommend ways to standardize configuration and move towards a generic platform
- Preparation of specifications and documentation for all software developed
Experience
- 5+ years in a developer role, develops applications for the cloud
- Previous leadership and delivery experience considered an asset
- Strong understanding of the following:
- C#, .NET
- Kubernetes
- MS Azure
- Rabbit MQ
- SQL/Mongo
- nSericebus
- Possess working knowledge with AGILE development, SCRUM and application lifecycle management
- Ability to discuss and strategize technical solutions
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, enabling cross-business teams
- Ability work in fast-paced environment while following best practice and company process
- Highly driven and passionate about technology, product development and product success
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical solutions
- Excellent oral, listening, and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, Self-motivated, proactive, and driven team-player attitude
