DEPT® is looking for an experienced Regional Head of FP&A (m/f/div) to do just that.

  • Oversight, development and management of a diverse team of FP&A Professionals
  • Providing proactive financial and strategic insights to the region’s senior leadership team - to be the management business team’s financial business partner
  • Coordination and delivery of the region’s annual budget and quarterly reforecasting results
  • Advisor to the DEPT® Group’s FP&A function
  • Responsibility for developing processes and procedures to uphold and improve levels of data integrity
  • Ownership of the region’s month-end reporting processes and ensure timely delivery of results and value-adding commentary
  • Reporting to the Global Head of FP&A


  • Hamburg or Berlin
  • High willingness to travel required


  • At least 7+ years’ experience within Business Control, FP&A or Business Partnering within an international corporation or agency
  • Significant experience as a finance team lead
  • Experience working in a professional services industry is preferential
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Qualified to degree level, preferably to Masters level
  • Preferably a qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) or with extensive exposure to IFRS and local GAAP (HGB)
  • Ability to expertly manage stakeholder relationships and give crucial financial related advice to senior directors
  • Willing to take initiative, work independently and take responsibility that helps you in leading projects from start to end
  • Tech savvy, especially with Excel
  • Approaches tasks as a team player and are happy to working to tight deadlines
  • Experience with Power BI and big data models is advantageous
  • Experience with large systems implementations is advantageous
  • Fluent German and English language skills required; any additional language is of advantage
  • Preferably have an interest in the technology and the digital industry
