Technical Writer

We have a beautiful office in central Dublin and also offer a high degree of flexibility around working from home, realistically you could be based anywhere in Ireland.
JOB PURPOSE
- As a Technical Writer you’ll get to build complex documentation systems providing technical information about the applications and APIs our teams are building.
- Work collaboratively with UX/UI designers and researchers, product strategists, and developers, using design thinking to drive innovation and define product opportunities.
- Create compelling, clear, and concise technical documentation of front end systems and APIs
- Assess the usability of digital content and provide inputs to the UX/UI team about the interface experience
- Partner with technologists to ensure technical accuracy of documentation
- Support the intuitive organization of product and documentation content (information architecture)
- Adhere to standardized content standards and guidelines so as to create a cohesive language and a unified voice across products and platforms.
- Evolve content guidelines, voice, tone, content models across product UI and documentation to continuously improve the user experience.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience with user-centered software product writing of UX flows.
- Experience documenting APIs is desired
- Ability to use feedback and testing takeaways to iterate effectively.
- Experience working in a fast-paced software product development environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting.
- Detail-oriented self-starter with ability to work efficiently with a solid sense for setting priorities.
- Excellent communication, listening, and influencing skills
- Advocate for user-centered design solutions
- Problem solver with a knack for simplifying the complex
- Champion for collaboration
