This position sits in our DACH-based teams with physical offices in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Zurich. We combine creativity, data, technology, creative content, and paid media to fulfill brands’ business ambitions & drive revenue through a wide variety of (digital) marketing solutions. 

JOB PURPOSE

As Media Strategy Director DACH, you are in close contact with our clients and listen carefully to their (digital) marketing challenges, learn all about their organization and business and translate this into business opportunities matching our services.

The Strategy Lead will work closely with tech, creative, media and analytics to ensure we are delivering market-leading strategic approaches to our clients. You will also help us win new clients by participating and/or leading in new business pitches; locally and globally. 

Team management is also a key element in this role, as you will be responsible tol guide, develop and grow a team of 2-5 media- and content strategists.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create influential and powerful strategies for our clients, ensuring that we continue to push them to be the most advanced, efficient and effective brands in the fields they operate within
  • Lead a team of 2-5 fellow strategists, resulting in quality output of strategic planning across the business
  • Translate insights derived from data into a clear story to convince the client
  • Implement strategies together with specialists for clients
  • Work closely together with our specialists (like SEA, SEO, CRM, Data, Marketplaces and Social Advertising Consultants)
  • Be the driving force of projects, starting and finishing them
  • Drive our internal knowledge and be on the forefront of creating new propositions and best practices

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You are a seasoned Digital Marketing Strategist with 7-10 years of experience and have gained extensive experience, preferably at an agency
  • Have broader digital marketing knowledge (SEO, SEA, Social, Display, Content Marketing, Marketplaces, Data etc.)
  • Have affinity with the creative development of the media assets, so you can partner with our content- and creative teams to develop bespoke and cutting edge media placements
  • Already have experience with coaching people as a Team Lead - but really working in- and with the teams to bring their knowledge- and skills to the next level
  • Can help our clients to go from business strategy to marketing strategy and implement this by giving advice, creating roadmaps and propose concepts
  • Are pro-active, energetic, curious and inspiring
  • Are a driver of innovation
  • Are a networker and because of this you are able to bring together our different disciplines and specialists
  • Can explain complex data and information in an easy and understandable manner to Internal & external stakeholders
