This role is part of our newly formed UK New Business Team.

DEPT® is a Technology/Marketing agency that works with businesses such as Just Eat Takeaway, eBay, ARM, Moody’s, Pipedrive, Twitch and on projects that span our four disciplines: Creative, Growth, Engineering and Experience.

DEPT® is one of the first and most well-renowned Google Marketing Platform (GMP) resellers. To make sure we realize our commercial growth together with Google in the UK&I, we're looking for a new business developer that has that hunter mentality and is going to be responsible for our business development and lead generation. You will be our first local resource in the UK&I market and will therefore play a big role in shaping our operations and strategy there. 

As our Senior GMP Business Development Manager you're part of the GMP team and it is your responsibility to make sure we create the best sales opportunities and get in the best leads. You like to meet new people, are a networker at heart and understand how to utilize your connections, to convert those leads into clients. We expect you to have already gained significant sales experience and have a strong interest in digital marketing. 

We are a young company and the brightest minds work for a wide range of customers every day, such as Philips, Smart, Just Eat Takeaway, Foot Locker & Sunweb. The GMP team is relatively new within DEPT®, and therefore there is lots of room for growth.


  • Generating GMP leads in the UK&I market
  • Co-presenting pitches about GMP 
  • Contract negotiations
  • Hitting sales targets in terms of closed deals
  • Building out relationships with existing customers for cross-sell opportunities


  • Have already gained at least 5 years of commercial experience and can tell a story about your best win;
  • Extensive network in the UK&I digital marketing industry;
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills, are not afraid to present and you can network like the best (please demonstrate how you do that);
  • Self-starter that enjoys autonomy;
  • Tech skills are important but secondary. Priority for now is generating leads that can be closed by others. Over time this person should win his/her own pitches. So GMP familiarity is a big plus;
  • Score bonus points if you have affinity or experience with programmatic advertising; 
  • Can switch from serious to play;
  • Master the English language in word and writing (other languages are nice to have).
