When you first think about Deliveroo, you probably think of getting great food to your house in less than half an hour.  Awesome right? But behind the scenes is the real story. This story is one of high growth, huge challenges and an enormous opportunity ahead of us. The CRM content strategist role

You know how to create joined-up experiences that cross the bridge between product and marketing. You love collaborating with lots of people, across teams – creative, tech, data, design and product. And you understand the power of words and how to use them. Sound like you? Join our team!

You’ll be part of the Content, Research and Design team. You’ll be accountable for all the content in your CRM campaigns and be the go-to person for creating strategic content that's compelling, easy to understand and concise.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Bridge the gap between marketing and product through CRM
    • Work with brand, marketing and CRD to make sure our customers have a consistent experience whether they’re reading an email, looking at a social media story or using the app
    • Work with our CRM designer to create communications for all our channels that lead seamlessly into product
  • Contribute ideas for better ways to communicate with customers outside the app
  • Develop content strategies for CRM campaigns – answering questions like, what do we want readers to think, feel and do when they see each email?
  • Partner with data scientists to inform and improve content using data
    • Hypothesise and create content for A/B experiments
  • Audit and manage CRM content
  • Work with local markets, localisation specialists and linguists to make sure our CRM is working effectively in all markets and languages

This role is for you if you:

  • Have experience in working with a multidisciplinary team to create outstanding content across a variety of platforms and products
  • Have an understanding of usability and/or UX principles and how they work when applied to a range of scenarios
  • Have a track record in creating outstanding, impactful copy for emails, social media and other CRM channels
  • Are great at helping your colleagues understand the importance and value of great copy and can explain content strategy and processes clearly
