The role:

We are still a small team, making a very large impact, looking to answer some of the most interesting questions out there. We move fast, value autonomy and ownership, and we are always looking for new ideas.

This position is based in Brussels in a hybrid format and will report to the Head of Deliveroo for Business. The primary role of the Business Development Associate is to engage with new corporations and sign Deliveroo as an official supplier or partner for their office food needs. You will also liaise between Deliveroo and our Corporate Customers to provide a world-class Deliveroo experience.

The role is hybrid, you will be based in our Brussel´s offices and spend time visiting your prospect clients.

 

Responsibilities

  • Grow the number of new corporate accounts in our target sectors
  • Strategise and help develop processes to enhance the corporate sales process and maximize the sales cycle
  • Identify opportunities for growth in new verticals and use cases
  • Manage the expansion of the new vertical use cases (eg. gift cards, partnerships, events)
  • Partner with Account Managers to manage all corporate account requests
  • Help with general marketing activities including events, email campaigns and corporate client offers
  • Help grow our corporate business as a core vertical in Milan, including developing our corporate operations, customer service, account management and marketing capabilities

Requirements

You have a natural commercial attitude, understands the corporate world, and are methodical with a sense of customer service.

  • Commercial background
  • A natural-born negotiator
  • Experience in a B2B sales role is a plus
  • Experience maintaining an organized and up-to-date pipeline of opportunities
  • Experience researching and generating leads
  • Analytical skills
  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects
  • Creative – never takes no for an answer.
  • Dutch and English languages skills. Additional French skills would be good
