When you first think about Deliveroo, you probably think of getting great food to your house in less than half an hour. Awesome right? But behind the scenes is the real story. It began with our founder Will, arriving in London over 5 years ago and finding it almost impossible to order great food, despite the wealth of incredible restaurants in the city. The algorithms behind that marketplace are the secret sauce that allow us to deliver our orders in under 30 minutes.

You will be responsible for making our plans a reality by running the execution of our launches and designing the operating model to allow us to launch efficiently and at velocity. You will collaborate with the l HQ teams to develop the most effective commercial, operational and marketing launch strategies to drive the best performance in these new areas.
After launching you will continuously review the market's performance, and use your findings to improve the performance in these markets, adapt your execution model and develop a ‘launch-city-in-a-box’ tool kit.
The role will be reporting into the Global Director of Market Expansion and based in Paris. Responsibilities include:
- Work with HQ teams to build a road map of where we are going to launch and when.
- Design Deliveroo’s launch execution model to allow us to launch quickly, at low cost, and with strong commercial results.
- Lead the execution of all launches. Work collaboratively with HQ functions to project manage efficient launches and on the ground execution.
- Using insights adapt our current commercial, operations and marketing strategies with local and HQ functions to make sure what we are executing is right for the customer.
- Track, manage and report performance to allow us to reiterate quickly and drive continuous improvement for future launches.
The role requires:
- Background: 5+ experience, including project management and execution operational roles
- Project Management: Exceptional project management skills that allow you to collaboratively operate across multiple functions, through removing barriers and bottlenecks via facilitation, creativity and resourcefulness. Use these skills to drive results from people around you.
- Expert & Problem Solver: Become an expert in Deliveroo coupled with the ability to break down problems into manageable pieces to drive results quickly. Know when you have enough insight to make-a-call and apply the 80/20 rule, rapid high-quality decision, as well as understanding the dynamics, interdependencies and implications of these decisions.
- Strategic & Customer Focus: Able to ‘think outside the box’ as well as execute ‘on-the-fly’ and come up with new innovative ideas that allow us to build a service that is right for the customer in a specific area.
- Entrepreneur: Loves ‘getting stuff done’ and reiterating to drive continuous improvement. Be comfortable with change, ambiguity and autonomy. No job is ever done and you drive your performance.
- Humble Team Player: Your a team player that is able to get the best out of the people around you. Work with multiple stakeholders to get the results as fast as possible.
- Language: Fluent in English & French
