THE ROLE

Reporting into the Head of Operations Performance (UK) you are responsible for managing the Operations Support team in the UK as well as working closely with CS to drive results from our 3rd party offshore provider. Your goal is to deliver industry-leading service to riders and applicants while constantly innovating and iterating on processes within the department in order to drive efficiencies.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide the riders with the support they need to work with Deliveroo, when they need it
  • Ultimate owner of all Operations Support KPIs
  • Define the future of Operations Support and drive the department towards it
  • Markedly improve our service levels while continually seeking efficiency gains
  • Create a transparent culture, well integrated with UK Ops and the wider business
  • Foster an environment of progression and continuous improvement

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Adaptable Fixer - enthusiastic, flexible & adaptable with the ability to remove barriers & bottlenecks via facilitation, creativity & resourcefulness.  Don’t slavishly follow processes if they aren’t right.
  • Can build “stuff” - approaches, processes, tools and structured change methodologies
  • Change Management - knows how to flow meaningful changes through a large organisation to drive adoption and ensure success
  • Budget Management - experience of working with a large budget and getting results from it
  • Analytical and strategic – able to ‘think big’ as well as execute ‘on-the-fly’ via understanding the dynamics of our business and the Operations Support team specifically.
  • Inquisitive and forward-thinking -  curious, thoughtful and happy to question the status-quo. Keeps pushing for further improvements
  • Track record of ‘getting shit done’
