The Finance and Strategy team enables execution of business strategy as trusted partners to country and functional teams on strategic & financial matters. What you’ll be doing
- Partner with the Chief Marketplace Officer and the Vice President of Editions to set the strategic direction and financial outlook for our Cloud kitchens division
- Drive planning and forecasting cycles (annual planning, quarterly/monthly/weekly outlooks and long-range plans) providing targets and financial performance management of our Cloud kitchens globally
- Partner with Site Operations teams to build and monitor adherence to operating budget and with Commercial teams to ensure adequate utilization/ productivity of the assets
- Review and sign off financials associated with expanding the initiative (new leases, capex spend globally)
- Leverage your commercial experience and knowledge to explore and assess new business models or monetization opportunities in or adjacent to cloud kitchens
- Build, support and coach a team of managers and associates focused on financial reporting and strategic support for this business.
For this role you need to have the following skill set:
- 10+ years experience with at least 3+ years at a senior level, leading teams and working closely with executive stakeholders
- Experience in businesses with physical assets requiring financial management of leases, capex, labor and operational costs
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial, pragmatic, commercial, highly analytical, clear communicator, comfortable with ambiguity
- Successful track record operating, partnering with and influencing exec-level stakeholders
- Excel at solving unstructured problems
- Able to lead cross-functional and globally dispersed teams without authority
- Proven ability to operate and succeed within a fast-paced environment
Preferred, but not required:
- Strong knowledge of the commercial real estate industry is a plus
