Location - Glasgow 2/3 days a week commutable from surrounding areas – (inc Edinburgh etc)

Role Description

Capco is hiring within Credit Risk to help support and grow a brand new Capco client. 

This requires excellent attention to detail and analytical skills and will be attractive to individuals who thrive in high paced, and deadline driven environments.

Your responsibilities will include and not limited to the following;

  • Gathering data from hedge fund websites, Bloomberg, 10Q’s/10K’s, or audited accounts for vendor systems (SNL) or other nominated sources.
  • Carrying out analysis on the data collected  in order to recommend a client Credit Tier
  • Input of associated data accurately into risk infrastructure
  • Storage of the information used in assessment work undertaken for audit traceability
  • Production of monthly MI to track the work undertaken
  • Collaboration with the Credit Risk team for analysis of credit risk and vendor data lineage to try and enhance process and automation.
  • Provide management support and oversight of resources within the DVP process with direct reporting line into Credit Risk team
  • Support more detailed counterparty due diligence (Conference Call or Mail) where clients are looking to trade outside of the risk based limits.
  • Prepare pre-meeting research and agenda (list of questions) and share with Credit Risk team within 24 hours of counterparty due diligence call.
  • Help establish and embed process to work perform remediation activities in line with prioritization approach provided
  • Once initial remediation tasks are complete, manage the BAU processes across (i) periodic review; (ii) new client onboarding; (iii) breach management, in line with agreed KPI’s and SLA’s.
  • Establish robust process documentation, incorporating identified enhancements as the process becomes more established.
  • Assist Credit Risk team with performance of UAT testing where necessary in respect to strategic project to deliver automation of process
  • Presentation of monthly MI to Credit Risk team and Committees (as required)
  • Other ad hoc tasks as and when required

Full and detailed training will be provided.

Skills and Experience

Experienced Hires:

  • Proven and demonstrated experience in an Investment Bank working in a trading environment.
  • Experience in Operational Risk or Credit Risk.
  • Product experience or regulatory knowledge is beneficial for this role.
