Project Description: We are assisting a major client in a Change The Bank initiative to implement and integrate a new product, Security Lending, within Calypso. This role offers a chance to enhance your analytical and communication skills while gaining in-depth expertise in the Capital Markets industry. Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the IT Functional lead for the project.
  • Gather and analyze user requirements to determine Calypso functional solutions.
  • Collaborate with the internal team using a servant leadership style, supporting coordination on the IT side.
  • Monitor project evolution, developments, dependencies, and execution of work lines internally.
  • Lead collaboration with external teams involved in the project (users, execution managers, other IT teams).

Skills Must Have:

  • Experience with the latest Calypso versions (v16 and v17).
  • Knowledge in Collateral Management (GMRA, CSA, and Triparty).
  • Expertise in Security Lending, Repos, and Calypso module for Equity and Bonds.
  • Understanding of Cash Management (Cash Sweeping, Interest, Fees) and Inventory Management (Client, Internal, External, MarginCall).
  • Familiarity with industry-standard back-office processing: Cash and Security Settlement, Swift reconciliation, triparty statement (Swift), messages (confirmation, advices), Operation (Task Station), Corporate Action, Accounting (General Ledger, P&L Accounting, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Workflow and Exception Management.
  • Experience with Static Data (SSI, Entities, Contacts, etc.).
  • Knowledge of FX, Money Market, Fixed Income, and Repo asset classes and their life cycle events.
  • Preferable knowledge on CWS Report, particularly Cash Ladder.
  • Static Data management skills including SSI, Entities, Contacts, etc.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with CATT (Calypso Automated Testing Tool).
  • Skills in PL/SQL (Oracle) and ability to read or debug Java code.

Required Qualifications:

MID-Level:

  • 2 to 6 years of Calypso experience.
  • Functional knowledge of Collateral, Repo, SecLending, Bond, and Equity products with project experience in their Calypso implementation.
  • Understanding of treasury and markets global processes, applications, and architectures.

SENIOR-Level:

  • Over 6 years of Calypso experience.
  • Extensive functional knowledge of Collateral, Repo, SecLending, Bond, and Equity products with leadership in their Calypso implementation.
  • Functional leadership experience in treasury and markets global processes, applications, and architectures.
