Procurement Specialist
We are looking for a fast learner with a hands-on mindset Procurement Specialist to join Adyen's Procurement team, a dynamic global team within our Operations function. You will be responsible for defining product lists and requirements and researching new possible vendors (sourcing). You have strong analytical skills and knowledge/interest in hardware (components).
What you'll do
- You will be responsible for defining and maintaining a complete BOM list per product, including researching and defining requirements.
- You will be responsible for preparing a long list of supplier sourcing and administering and monitoring commercial agreements involving prices, lead times, etc.
- You will be analyzing the progress made based on defined KPIs with existing vendors.
- You will be working with the Product department on product launches.
- You will be working with Warehousing on logistic requirements.
Who you are
- You're well-organized and like to solve problems with a pragmatic approach.
- You're data-driven with an analytical mindset and enthusiastic about researching.
- You have a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- You're an excellent communicator and able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, both internal and external.
- You have relevant experience when it comes to vendor management and sourcing.
- You're proficient in English; fluency in another language is an added advantage.
- You have a global mindset, able to work across countries and cultures.
- You're a self-starter, able to work independently. Bonus if you have relevant project management experience.

Please note that this role is a full-time position in Amsterdam. It will require a relocation in case you live outside of the Netherlands.
