Senior Product Analyst, Financial Services Risk

Adyen's financial services solution (Issuing, Accounts, Payouts, and Capital) is rapidly growing. The Financial Services Risk team enables such success with a comprehensive set of product offerings to both our Embedded Finance and Issuing customers. Our in-house risk and decisioning solutions allow our customers to seamlessly manage real-time transfer decisioning and provide a highly competitive 3DS experience for the issuing customers.

You will join a high-paced autonomous team and be the data owner for the products. You will leverage data from different sources with product managers and engineers to provide data-driven insights on adoption and improvements. You will be a pioneer in standardizing self-serving issuing data tooling and processing for different internal stakeholders. Further, by combining your analytical skills with solid business acumen and product mindset, you will become a critical part of building analytics for issuing customers to maximize our product offerings.

What you'll do 

  • Establish product-specific metrics on adoption and performance and derive actionable insights that you will take to product and engineering teams for further product iterations and optimizations.
  • Work with centralized data teams to build self-serving toolings and provide analytics as a service for internal stakeholders. 
  • Assist ad-hoc data requests for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Take strong leadership in identifying opportunities for the whole issuing data function and establish a shared vision. 
  • Assist the compliance releases for issuing and product operational tasks while aiming to streamline the process.
  • (Eventually) Strategize analytics as part of our risk and decisioning product offering and bring it to reality 

Who you are

  • You have around 5 years of experience working as a data analyst, product analyst, or business analyst in a product-driven environment.
  • You are highly proficient in SQL and Python and, preferably, familiar with PySpark and Airflow in automating data pipelines.
  • You have experience with building BI dashboards using Looker or Tableau.
  • You have a fundamental understanding of fraud management in a bank environment; additionally, it's preferred if you're familiar with either card issuing or payment processing.
  • You are passionate about incorporating data throughout the product life cycle.
  • You are not afraid of daily operational tasks and strive to find new ways of optimizing them with your data skills.
  • You can thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, are able to navigate ambiguity, and balance competing demands for fast deliveries.
