Adyen is looking for a Technical Analyst to automate L3 Brand Certification tests that ensure the quality and compliance of our software with industry standards. For the automation of these test cases, we make use of our in-house build robots. This position is based in Amsterdam.

What you will do:

Adyen launches new services and products at a fast and high pace. You're required to have a technical understanding of terminal POS Testing and execution of Level 3 Brand certification tests to ensure Adyen, as an Acquirer, is in line with EMVco and Scheme requirements while offering this service to customers. In this position, you will help manage the L3 Certification service by owning the L3 Brand Certification administration and test activities on our customer POS terminals. 

You will research scheme requirements, analyze and validate test results of the L3 Certification, and be able to explain to our customers any issue related to their terminal and the progress of the Certification in the Adyen environment. In this role, you will work with our internal teams, our Customers, our Developers, and our existing Brand Certification team to improve the overall L3 Certification onboarding and L3 Certification testing.

Who you are:

  • Strong ties with testing; you love to try to break things! 
  • Detail-oriented: you should always want to be up to date with knowledge of standards, specifications, and rules.
  • You have a solid technical background - EMV knowledge is required, and development experience is a definitive plus.
  • You don't mind manually testing various POS payment terminals, setups, and features, but you also like to help automate these tests.
  • You're a highly collaborative person, as you will need to work with many developers to understand and optimize the certification testing process.

Please note that this role is a full-time position in Amsterdam. It will require relocation if you live outside of the Netherlands.
